It is a widely used material in injection molding and 3D printing, but as a semi‑finished product—such as sheets or rods—it is available in a more limited range of sizes compared to materials like POM or polyamide. Its mechanical load‑bearing capacity is also lower than that of these higher‑performance plastics.
ABS is particularly advantageous in applications where low weight, high hardness and good impact resistance are all important factors. Our product range includes ABS‑R sheets containing recycled material, available in black. One side of these sheets has a finely textured surface, making them an economical and practical choice for various cladding or support components.
