Fluorinated, chemical-resistant plastic with good UV stability which can be used on high-temperatures. PTFE is characterized by extremely good chemical resistance, very good slip properties and electrical insulating properties even in high frequency applications. The material is relatively soft without fillers and deforms under load. Due to these properties, PTFE can be used in a wide range of applications, like low-load sliding elements. Difficult to burn (UL 94), UV resistant.
